To be with the ocean and the fish
Become the blood of the ship
A lifestyle you’ll always grip
Aboard you find yourself treasure drawn
Your yearning for it is Oh, so strong
So to piracy you turn
And a great infamously you earn
For your plundering and blood lust
Is now a habitual must
Your thoughts are constantly of gold
Satisfaction comes only with a full hold
From coast to coast
You haunt the shores like a ghost
In search of your utmost desire
Though you have no intent to retire
So until the end of days
You will follow your pirate ways
For your thirst can’t be satisfied
Your heart is forever with the tide

They live for gold or silver, so they sail
Crossing swords with the lawful knaves
Though the end of life they’ll never foretell
Death may be quick or very long
Hades may come by age, ocean’s arms or hangman’s rope
Fate is fate and it’s a siren’s song
Change for better doesn’t have a hope

Common place would be the sight of a knife
Evil at its peak, masquerading as goodness, only this is a lie
As it is though time is still on our side

For times past you can only lament
Once on you can’t get off the road of crime
Destiny has been sealed
Your soul already stained
Reputation destroyed without repair, even if willed
For your deeds to the world have been famed
Seek not the world of disrepute
Find one with some worth
After all you don’t wish to be a newt
Be gracious and give unto the earth
